I've previously mentioned how I use Booking.com for most of my hotel reservations in my post about Bupa Plus.

But even if you are not a Bupa Plus member you can still benefit from using Booking.com.

Their site gives you a huge selection of accommodation to chose from, not just hotels. They list hostels, apartments, villas, bed & breakfasts, home-stays, guest houses and even boats and treehouses!

The loyalty programme is called Genius and to qualify, you simply need to sign up and make (and stay at) 5 or more reservations. Once you've completed those 5 stays, you'll automatically be upgraded to 'Frequent Traveller / Genius' status.

This means that at selected properties, you receive an additional 10% off the price (which is quite often already much cheaper than the other travel sites).

There might even be complimentary perks such as welcome drinks, free airport transfers and late check-out just for Genius customers. And if they aren't free, I've quite often been offered decent discount on my airport transfers.

Genius deals are easy to spot. Just look for the yellow logo.

To get you started, you will receive a £15 (approx $27) back after your first stay if you sign up using this link or clicking the image below.

Also, if you have a home, holiday house, spare room, B&B, etc and you would like to make some extra money, sign up as an owner for free and by clicking the image below, you won't pay any commission on your first 5 bookings.
