My 2018 Savings

Before I write any more articles (and believe me there are lots of more to come) I wanted to help everyone understand just how much I have saved last year and where the savings came from.

Below is a rough breakdown of the savings I made over the course of 2018 that I can remember / track. I've easily achieved over $4000 in hard cash saved.

I am creating a 2019 version which I will post shortly and then update on a monthly basis.

The programmes that I have already written articles about, are linked to below.

Given that I value my Qantas points and AMEX Membership Reward points at 2c each, I would say that I have earned around an additional $7000 in savings.

This would take my total savings in 2018 to in excess of $11000. Not too bad if I say so myself!
